Runs the beginners' class with Alain
<p>Robin started fencing in 2000 at the Reading Activity Centre, and got involved in coaching the juniors until 2002 when the club was disbanded. He then joined RFC and trained with Peter Whiteside, when the Club set up beginner training sessions. After Peter left he carried on coaching alongside Alain (above), where you will find them today teaching our popular Beginner Classes. He enjoys introducing people to fencing and then helping them improve their technique. Robin has attending a footwork coaching course at Eton, was awarded his County Coach (Foil) qualification under the BFA, has recently completed his coaching Level 1 Épée qualification and also Level 3 Épée written exam under the BAF. A keen foilist and sabreur, he now enjoys fencing épée at the Club.</p>
