GB League

Open to all experienced épéeists - including anyone who’s completed one of our beginner courses - the GB League is for open to all fencers and has been designed to mirror many of the aspects already seen in inter-club competitive fencing, with a focus on creating a fun and inclusive environment.

All bouts are first to 5 hits in 3 minutes. Each bout will be referees so fencers will queue to fence as they normally would, then leave the queue to referee a match, fence 2 opponents themselves, then rejoin.

We are a friendly club so if you’ve not refereed before, don’t worry, more experienced fencers will help you out in terms of what to do.

1 point for every match you fence, with 2 additional points for every match you win!
